  1. The gap between shifts scheduled vs shifts worked has shifted to 19.9%. We saw this gap widen over the last several weeks, it's likely shrinking due to a combination of bars participating in to-go orders and/or re-opening of bars nationwide.
  2. Similar to shifts, we are also seeing the gap between hours scheduled vs worked at 19.7%. That said, the difference in number of hours scheduled decreased only slightly in comparison to the previous day.   • This is due to shifts being canceled by business owners / managers and / or government restrictions.

Similar to shifts, we are also seeing the gap between hours scheduled vs worked at 19.7%. That said, the difference in number of hours scheduled decreased only slightly in comparison to the previous day. Furthermore, in comparison to the previous day, we are also seeing a large increase of hours worked (46.7%).

  • In comparison to the previous day, there has been a 1% decrease in hours scheduled. ​
  • In comparison to the previous day, there has been a 46.7.% increase in hours worked.

Pre-pandemic, on average, managers planned shifts ahead by 11 days. Currently, managers are planning for 3-4 days ahead, likely as a result of the current crisis climate. ​

  • Currently Pubs and Bars are now only advanced planning by 3.2 days.
  • Last week Pubs and Bars were advanced planning by 6.5 days.
