Sydney, Australia – 17 November 2025 — Deputy, the global people platform for shift-based work, has announced a new partnership with SuperAPI, marking a major enhancement to its HR product suite. The integration will uplift the employee onboarding experience by providing shift workers across Australia opportunities to save fees by stapling their superannuation to previous accounts, and simplify the filing process for businesses, saving hours a week.
Through this partnership, Deputy will embed SuperAPI’s TFND and Superannuation steps directly into its HR workflow, allowing new employees to seamlessly select and retain their preferred super fund within the Deputy platform. This eliminates the need for repetitive account creation when starting a new job, helping workers avoid unnecessary fees and ensuring their retirement savings remain consolidated and protected.
According to ATO data from June 2025, 21% of working Australians have two or more superannuation accounts, often doubling the fees that are unnecessarily eating away at their retirement savings. This trend is often attributed to the challenges posed by employees in nominating their existing member accounts when changing jobs.
