Top insights about Local Cafes for April 15, 2020

  1. We're seeing shifts scheduled and shifts worked driving away from one another, resulting in a 43.8% gap. While shifts scheduled hasn't significantly dropped, shifts worked continues to decline. This could be a result of the current uncertain climate - managers are determining how many hours are necessary for the week and if they are able to remain open.
  2. Today Shifts Created has dropped the lowest it has to date: 813 shifts created. This is due to nation-wide cafe closures due to COVID-19. For cafes that are still operating, shifts created is likely at minimum since states are regulating service.
  3. This week, we're forecasting a potential delay in Local Cafes communicating COVID-19 updates to their workers. Currently, COVID-19 makes up .8% of all communications happening on the platform.
